Huge Galdones

Founding Partner, Photographer. As you read this, Huge Galdones is probably catching a flight. You’ve seen GALDOPHOTO’s award-winning photography in cookbooks, magazines and advertising campaigns; a Montréal native, Huge and his family have made Chicago their home since 2009.

If you spend 5 minutes with him, you’ll know why he’s a welcome guest in Michelin-starred kitchens around the world. His warmth and intelligence can coax a laugh from the toughest chef.

On set, his masterful use of lighting makes beverages dance. Huge has a rare ability to capture a dynamic qualityin his photography, whether he’s working with people or products. It’s electric.

Huge’s easy personality, collaborative nature & science background make him the triple threat you’ll want on your team.

Mark Skala

Founding Partner, Commercial Director. Leading our motion arm, Mark Skala is an Emmy-winning story teller. He’s the classic left and right brain thinker, combining an analytical nature with an irreverent, belly-laugh sense of humor.

His twin sides shine as the head our motion group, Skalawag Productions. With his full time in-house team, Mark takes the process from creative strategy through production & post, as needed. (Recipe Videos, GIFs & Cinemagraphs, Motion Graphics, Stop Motion Animation and more.)

Mark and Huge have been collaborating on F&B motion/still projects for 10+ years, developing their fluid production process. The photo and video teams rotate through set, creating efficient, seamless and delicious assets. It also saves time and headaches. (It’s possible that Mark perfected this approach while raising his twin toddlers. Very possible.)

Missy Myers

Director of Business Development. Missy is an agent and attorney, focusing on business growth, development & strategy. Her law career began as in house counsel at a Fortune 500 company, where she worked with the Board of Directors for almost a decade.

As an agent, she spent 5 years working for the legendary Marge Casey in Chicago, representing a global roster of content creators for advertising. (Where she met Mark and Huge)

Along with her background in negotiations, Missy brings a Mary Poppins bag of creativity to the Roll Cut Studios. (That, plus 2 years of Renaissance Faire swordfighting make her a damn good problem solver.)
